E-mail setup

PLEASE NOTE: In order to prevent SPAM email services and other non-GOPvalues customers from using our servers This configuration REQUIRES POP before SMTP. You must authenticate by retrieving your messages from our server before the server will allow you to send new messages. Check the "My server requires authentication" box under "more settings" and select "Use the same settings as my incoming server".

How to configure Eudora 6

1. Open Eudora. After it has loaded, Left Click on Tools. A menu will drop down, search for and Left-Click Options.

2. The first Category you will see is Getting Started. Enter the required information as shown below.

  • Real Name: Your Name
  • Return Address: username@gopvalues.com
  • Mail Server (incoming): pop.gopvalues.com
  • Login Name: username@gopvalues.com
  • SMTP Server (outgoing): smtp.gopvalues.com

3. Click OK.

4. The next category is Checking Mail, fill in the correct text fields and check boxes with your information as shown below.

5. Incoming Mail, make sure your screen has the same areas selected as shown below.

6. Sending Mail, at this point the text areas should populate themselves with the correct information as shown below. If not please enter you information correctly.

7. You should not have to make any changes on the Composing Mail or Internet Dialup screen.

8. Click OK and your all finished.
