E-mail setup

PLEASE NOTE: In order to prevent SPAM email services and other non-GOPvalues customers from using our servers This configuration REQUIRES POP before SMTP. You must authenticate by retrieving your messages from our server before the server will allow you to send new messages. Check the "My server requires authentication" box under "more settings" and select "Use the same settings as my incoming server".

How to configure Netscape 7.1

1. Open Netscape. After it has loaded, Click on Window. A menu will drop down, Click Mail & Newsgroups.

Note: If you are setting up your account for the first time the Account Wizard will open automatically. If this happens skip steps 2 and 3 and go to step 4.

2. Click on Edit. Click Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings.

3. Left-Click Add Account.

4. Select Email Account, then Click Next.

5. Type in your name and e-mail address (ex: username@gopvalues.com). Then click Next.

6. Select POP and type in pop.gopvalues.com in the Incoming Server text area. Then click Next.

7. Type in your username@gopvalues.com. Then click Next.

8. In the area provided type a Account Name for your account (ex: gopvalues.com account). Then click Next.

9. Verify that all your info being displayed is correct. Then click Finish.

10. We must know make sure that all the information is correct. Click on Edit. A menu will drop down, click on Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings (Refer to step 2 for a screen shot). If your screen matches the screen below go on to step 11. If not make the correct changes and go on to step 11.

11. Click on Server Settings on left. Make sure all information is correct and the needed check boxes are checked. If all is well move on to step 12.

12. Select Outgoing Sever from the left menu. Check to see if all information is correct. Be sure that the Use name and password is selected. If all is well you are finished. Click OK and enjoy the rest of your day.
