E-mail setup

PLEASE NOTE: In order to prevent SPAM email services and other non-GOPvalues customers from using our servers This configuration REQUIRES POP before SMTP. You must authenticate by retrieving your messages from our server before the server will allow you to send new messages. Check the "My server requires authentication" box under "more settings" and select "Use the same settings as my incoming server".

How to configure Pegasus

1. Open Pegasus. After it has loaded, Left-Click on Tools. A menu will drop down, search for and Left-Click Internet Options.

2. Under the General Tab, type in your e-mail address (username@gopvalues.com). Next Left-Click on the Receiving Tab.

3. Under the Receiving tab Left-Click Add to create a new definition.

4. Left-Click New to apply some settings to your new definition.

5. Enter a discriptive name for the Definition (ex: pop.gopvalues.com). In the designated fields type your Server Host Name (pop.gopvalues.com), your User name (username@gopvalues.com), and your Password. Then go on to step 6.

6. At the top of the window Left-Click on the Security Tab. Select Never from the Use SSL/TLS security on this connection option. Then Left-Click OK.

7. From the list select the pop.gopvalues.com definiton (or what you named it in step 5 if different). Once selected Left-Click on Select and move to step 8.

8. Left-Click on the Sending Tab, Left-Click Add, and then go to step 9.

9. Left-Click on New from the options on the right. Then go to step 10.

10. With the General Tab selected enter the information as shown below. Then go to step 11.

11. Left-Click on the Security tab. Select Never from the Use SSL/TLS security on this connection option. For SMTP Authentication check the Login to the SMTP server using the followong details check box, and enter your Username (username@gopvalues.com) and Password. Then Left-Click OK.

12. Highlight your new definition and Left-Click Select.
